My soul yearns, yea, even pines for the courts of the L-RD; my heart and my flesh sing for joy unto the living G-d. Yea, the sparrow has found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young; Your altars, O L-RD of hosts, my King, and my G-d. Happy are they that dwell in Your house, they are ever praising You. Selah (Psa 84:2-4)
Welcome to my nest!
I like to write so there is a blog. It is a collection of things I have written in the last few years and of new stuff I'm writing now. I write a lot about my meditations on the scriptures, but will also write things about my family and my daily life.
Since my interests are natural health, birth, home education, gardening/homesteading, building and sewing, and music I will be developing pages on those topics as I get material for them.
I live in an old farmhouse on a small acreage with my husband and my 3 youngest children. One of my older daughters and her two children live in a small mobile home on our property while she goes to college. I have home educated my children, starting back in 1985. My husband is a special education teacher. He went back to college in his early 50's to get the degree he started way back when he was 18. I'm really proud of him. We have several cats, my daughter's dog, chickens and hope to get some livestock such as sheep or cattle and bees.
